A power control system in vehicles works as a system composed with sensors, controller and actuators. We can easily compare any system with our body system. We have sensors, such as, eyes to see, nose to smell, tongue to taste, etc. Our brain analyze the signals from our sensors and make and order to the actuators (our hand, leg, foot, any kind of muscle in our body) for a planned purposes.

 

 

Nowadays, the importance of sensors in our daily life cannot be overemphasized. Refrigerator, washing machine, television, notebook computer, smart phone … all the machines which helps our daily life cannot be operated without sensors inside the machines. To expect micro processor’s correct decision, the sensors have to report very precise signal without any bias or gap between the physical reality and reported status. To assure this, the performance of sensor and sensor technology is getting more and more important.
